No Practice on April 7th & 8th

A reminder that we will not have practice this Friday (April 7th) & Saturday (April 8th) due to Easter weekend. Enjoy the long weekend!

2022-2023 Season Banquet Celebration

Mark your calendars, on Friday night, April 28th we are going to have our end-of-the-season banquet. There will be food, awards, & celebration for everything that has been accomplished this past year. If you plan on attending please RSVP using the link below.

College Commitment

Congratulations to Katerina Smith & her family, on her commitment to swimming at Fairmont State University! On March 8th she made it official by signing her NLI. We are so proud of you and wish you all the best next season! For photos check out our social media pages. 

Summer Swim Meets

Below are the available swim meets for your athletes to attend in the months of May-July. We wanted to be proactive and give you a heads-up on what we are planning. Please note that they are tentative and might change as we continue to solidify the events. As of right now, you can declare intentions on if you would like to come to the meets through our team website. Please note if it is a Senior Level meet that means only our Bison swimmers can attend and must have achieved the time standard for that meet. 

May 19-21: Kentucky Aquatics Derby Classic

Blue vs Red Summer League

This summer we are going to offer a summer league competition. We are doing this in hopes of drawing more kids to the sport. This programming will take place from May 30th-June 23rd. Anyone under the age of 18 is allowed to participate. Every Friday there will be a Blue vs Red competition, It will culminate on June 24-25 with our first summer league championship swim meet! The best part about this news is that the members of our club team will get to participate for free! Club practice will still be offered at this time, this opportunity will be in addition to it. The main goal of this league will be to have tons of fun and improve swimming ability. For more information on what is to come, check out our website, more updates on it coming soon.

New T-shirt Order

As the summer season approaches, we are going to go through a second round of ordering t-shirts. If you would like to order any additional t-shirts please use the link below and put your name, Quantity, and sizes. The cost is $20 per shirt. The deadline for orders is May 1st. 

If your child is swimming for us and has not yet received a t-shirt, please DO NOT fill out this form for them. We already have their sizes, it will be fulfilled through this order.

Marketing Update

We are in the process of doing a big marketing push to generate interest in the club for this summer. There will be several different ways we promote the club through online advertisement, social media, flyers, and an updated website. Our goal is to do this push in the month of May, if you come across it please share it with others, there is no better marketing than word of mouth! Also if you have any ideas of groups we should reach out to please let us know! We hope that the growth will allow us to raise enough funds to hire some full-time coaches. 

Swim Shop

We are excited to announce that our swim shop is finally up on our website! If you click the link that says “Team Store” it will take you to Swim & Tri’s Website. Once there you can order team gear. Soon we will have training equipment up on the site that you can order. 

Email Issues

At the end of February, we realized that our current email [email protected] has not been receiving emails. Our email is now back up and running now. We apologize if you have reached out and not gotten a response. If you send an email and do not hear back within a few days please reach out to us through our social media. We want to make communication as easy as possible for you all. 


 


 

As always thank you for your support and patience with our program as we continue to grow. There is a lot to celebrate and a lot to look forward to. I hope to see you all at the banquet!
